Tundra and Highlander TOP Safety Picks!

We thought you’d be interested to know that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named the 2008 Tundra and 2008 Highlander as Top Safety Picks.

We’re always pleased when our vehicles are singled out for awards such as this. In fact Tundra has received a number of kudos for its high levels of safety features. Tundra made the IIHS list in the first year the IIHS tested fullsize pickups for the honor. Indeed, Tundra was the only fullsize pickup named a Top Safety Pick.

The Highlander, meanwhile, was one of five midsize SUVs listed as Top Safety Picks.

The Tundra and Highlander were two of just 34 vehicles to win this rating for 2008.
